BIOGRAPHY:
Ron Meetin is an intellectual property attorney with extensive experience in patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and technology licensing.
Ron Meetin prepares and prosecutes patent applications covering a broad range of technologies including electronics, semiconductors, integrated circuits, electronic circuitry, imaging displays, chemical engineering, and chemistry. He provides counseling on the validity, infringement, and enforceability of patents.
Ron Meetin assists clients in developing strategies for pursuing and/or avoiding patent litigation. He is also experienced in establishing and maintaining programs to protect and manage inventions, technical developments, and other intellectual property.
Before starting his own intellectual property practice, Ron Meetin was Technical Counsel at Skjerven Morrill LLP and, prior to that, Patent Counsel at Signetics Corp. when it was a leading semiconductor manufacturer in Silicon Valley. Before law school,
Ron Meetin was an astronautical engineer in the U.S. Air Force.
Ron Meetin is a member of the State Bar of California and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
